Annual Poker Run

We had a great turnout and another safe ride and of course lots of fun in 2018.

However, there will NOT be a Ride For Jason and Friends in 2019.

Jason is still working at Life Experiences and doing well. Life Experiences is involved in a new Fund Raiser this year instead of the Poker Run. We will miss riding with all of you.

Sincerely,
Bill and Jason

A Very BIG THANKS to all our Sponsors and our Friends that have supported us over the years. Jason and I want to send a very special thank you to Uncle Butch and his biker buddy Doug who made the ride every one of the 14 Years! You guys and all the riders from Ohio are true iron-bottom bikers.

We hope to ride with all y’all again sometime!

The Ride for Jason and Friends  Poker Run is an annual event that takes bikers on an adventure. The adventure includes up to five stops at local businesses. The most important stop is of course Life Experiences where Jason and his friends work. You will be impressed with the work they accomplish and how happy and proud they are.

What is a Poker Run? For our event, each rider draws a playing card at each stop. The rider with the Highest poker hand at the last stop wins a $300 gift card to Tobacco Road Harley-Davidson (previously know as Ray Price HD) Low hand wins a $150 gift card. Including door prizes and other games along the way, almost everyone wins something and you don’t even need to know how to play Poker.

In the beginning (2004) the largest local TV station, WRAL TV did a news story about our unique fund raiser. It is just under 2 minutes long. The video was updated for our 10th anniversary. Please note: the current ride date is at the top of this page.
